Christopher H. Cheek, MBA, NHA is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SentryCare. Founded in 1993, the history of the company includes the development and management of hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living communities in Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas. In his career Chris has operated 13 different properties, and the newest one is slated to open in 2027. Chris has also been involved in the culture change movement in long term care and has participated in multiple leadership talks and seminars.

Chris is a Co-founder and a Director of ApotheCare, a closed-door institutional pharmacy which utilizes the latest technologies in medication packaging and administration. He is also a Co-founder and a Director of Healthcare Risk Services a firm which specializes in insurance alternatives for healthcare providers. Additionally, Chris is a Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Property Insurance Company of America. He is also a Co-founder and Director of KareTeam a software and service company which facilitates aging in place.

Chris developed the website KeepYourMedicare.com to inform patients and consumers of the pitfalls of Medicare Advantage plans. He serves on the board of Trustees of Millsaps College, a liberal arts college in Jackson, MS and is an avid supporter of Scouts BSA. Chris and his wife Patricia have four children and four grandchildren. He enjoys outdoor activities including boating, hiking, hunting and fishing.
